News and Events from our Offices to your homes...
June 14th, 2007 (Carmel, IN) --
This year's annual Open House at Nightingale Home Healthcare was a two-fold celebration - marking eleven years in business and the opening of their new national headquarters at Rangeline Road, Carmel. Dick Crum, Master Gardner for WIBC radio station was on hand to greet and meet visitors and share some gardening tips, while Dr. Rebecca Bushong, dermatologist with Shideler Dermatology, Carmel sponsored a question and answer program for the visitors, and Dr. John Riley, Medical Director, led a discussion on physicians making home visits. The Snooty Fox and Porta-Pit barbecue served up a catered lunch for the guests, and Atkins Cheesecake of Noblesville, provided dessert. FREE vital health-sign screenings were available, along with information about Nightingale's services. The marketing staff of Nightingale demonstrated and explained many of the technological advances that have been made in the areas of home health care. Nightingale currently offers their clients In-Home Tele-Monitoring, Photo Therapy, Personal Emergency Response System (PERS), and MedPartner, an innovative medication reminder system. Dr. Dev Brar, President of Nightingale, said he was well pleased with the attendance at the Open House. "We always look forward to hosting this event. We enjoy opening our "home" to the community and to our neighbors to say welcome to Nightingale and to acquaint people with our services. Seniors who are still active and enjoying independence without assistance attend our event to get to know us and check us out for when the time may come when they will need assistance. Likewise, children seeking care for a parent find that the Open House is a good time to ask questions and understand what we are about. We work many months ahead to prepare for this event, but when the people stop in to share lunch with us, or just to chat - it makes it all worthwhile," concluded Brar, |
