Nightingale celebrates its 11th Annual Hoilday Banquet
December 10th, 2007 (Carmel, IN) --
Aroung 450 employees and guests of Nightingale attended the 11th annual holiday banquet, held Saturday, December 8, at the downtown Marriott, in the Indiana ballroom. Several employees received the coveted Employee of the Year awards, and yearend bonuses.

Each employee who had one year of service or more with the company was presented a Nightingale pin with diamonds depicting the number of years of their employment. Also, every employee with five or more years of service received statements outlining the amount of dollars in their retirement accounts, based on company profit sharing. All money is these accounts is contributed solely by Nightingale.
A special highlight of the evening was the presentation of the first nursing/veteran scholarship to Katherine Mummert. Katherine “Katy” is a nursing student at Purdue University, and a family member of four generations to serve in the military. Dr. Brar said the grant was a gift from him and his parents who have formed the Spiritual Cultural Society organization. Katy’s entire family was present for the award.

The evening that featured a delicious buffet style meal, a live DJ, and dancing ended with the presentation of personal gifts and accolades for Dr. Brar, as well as an employee contributed gift.
