Nightingale Home Healthcare, Inc. celebrated its 10th year of business by hosting a Spring Open House

Carmel, IN, April 27, 2006 -- Nightingale Home Healthcare, Inc. celebrated its 10th year of business by hosting a Spring Open House on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event, which featured free Health Screenings and an Employment Fair, was held on a gorgeous, sunny spring day in a festive tent located on the lot next door to the site where Nightingale's new corporate headquarters is being constructed.

Over 350 guests enjoyed a delicious, catered buffet lunch and hors d'oeuvres served by Alan's Catering. Guests received free vital health sign screenings (blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen saturation), free flu shots (for those procrastinators who still wanted them!) and fabulous door prizes. Nightingale's patient advocate staff enjoyed getting the opportunity to speak with all of the Open House guests and discuss the many services that Nightingale provides. Nightingale's Human Resources department also held an on-site Job Fair during the Open House where they were busy interviewing prospective employees.

Representatives from prominent health equipment companies such as At Home Health Equipment, Advantage Medical and QuietCare offered advice and demonstrated the latest in monitors and therapies. A special guest appearance was made by WIBC's Dick Crum, aka "Dr. Dirt" from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and he talked to many of his fans about their spring gardening challenges!

Nightingale's Spring Open House provided a unique opportunity for individuals of all ages to receive valuable health information for both themselves and their loved ones. Most importantly, guests learned how to remain independent in their homes for as long as possible at this successful and well-attended event. We hope to see you there next year!
