Nightingale Hosts Senior Prom for Senior Citizens

Carmel, IN, April 21, 2006 -- Nightingale Home Healthcare, Inc. proudly hosted the 19th annual Indianapolis Senior Center “SENIOR PROM” dinner/dance at the Indiana Roof Ballroom on Friday evening, April 21. The popular event, which was attended by approximately 450 people, featured big band music from Chicago’s Tony Barron Orchestra. Proceeds from this event benefit the programs and services of the Indianapolis Senior Center.

Elegant men and women dressed in formal attire displayed the elegant dancing of yesteryear, gracefully spinning around the ballroom performing the waltz or foxtrot. Many of the attendees fondly reminisced about the high school proms that they attended long ago. A Community Leadership Award is given each year in recognition of a lifetime of service and commitment to area residents, especially seniors. Dr. Dev Brar of Nightingale Home Healthcare presented the 2006 Community Leadership Award to Congresswoman Julia Carson.
