New Director of Clinical Services Appointed at Nightingale Home Healthcare

June 20, 2013 (Carmel, IN) -- Dr. Dev Brar, president of Nightingale Home Healthcare, has announced a new Director of Clinical Services for the company located at 1036 S. Rangeline Road.

"Audrey Williams, RN, brings a wealth of knowledge to Nightingale," says Brar. "She has 23 years of experience in home healthcare in her home state of Alabama, and she has worked nationally as a Home Health Administrator for several home health companies. We are fortunate to acquire nursing talent that is specific to eldercare, and pleased to offer this highly skilled level of care to our clients."

So why does an Alabamian leave the warm state of Alabama to battle the elements of a sometimes and most often cold climate of Indiana?

"I was looking for a challenge," stated Williams." I had acquired a level of satisfaction and completion at my former job and was missing the operations end of healthcare. In my previous position, we had attained Top 100 status with Home Care Elite, and had earned 99 percent satisfaction rate from patients, along with 84 percent from employees – which is very good considering the national average for employee satisfaction runs more in the 40-60 percent range in healthcare. I enjoyed my last position as Compliance Consultant for Maximum Healthcare Services, but I prefer a job where I can be involved. I like to make things happen." she said.

Williams also stated that Brar's philosphy about patient care matched her own and it was a leading factor in making the move to Nightingale. "He (Brar) is very passionate about his patients and he allows no shortcuts." she stated.

The mother of five grown children and six grandchildren, said it wasn't easy to pull up roots and relocate, but she was driven by her passion for seniorcare and operational excellence.

"With a bachelor 's degree in nursing I could have worked all avenues of care, but I have always been drawn to geriatrics. I want to make a difference in the lives of the elderly and in my community. I also like working with healthcare employees to help them succeed. That's why I like coming to work. I have always maintained that a happy employee makes for a happy patient. I have enjoyed many successes through the years and I will use those and my experience for the patients and employees of Nightingale. My desire for the company is continued success," concluded Williams.
