- Responsible for all legal issues, including regulatory matters involving the home health industry
- Reviews, negotiate and drafts contracts and other legal documents
- Oversight of acquisitions
- Maintains corporate entity / government documents
- Provides legal assistance with drafting, creating of documents, policies and regulations
- Prepares pleading, and handles depositions, interrogations, pre-trial motions, pre-trial and settlement conferences
- Provides direction or serves as a resource to the company and various departments
- Advice on employment law
Qualified Candidates Include:
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Indiana
- JD degree is required
- A minimum of five (5) years of legal experience is required; ten (10) years of experience is preferred
- Active knowledge of the current employment laws, and regulations
- Medical law experience is required; Home Health law is preferred
- Litigations background is required
