The Medical Social Worker provides evaluation and treatment to patients having problems of social and personal adjustment that interfere with independent living or are a reaction to the medical diagnosis. He/she is responsible for developing a treatment plan and providing individual, family or group therapy. Initial evaluation shall include patient and/or family goals. Educational Requirement is a Master's Degree in Social Work. Licensure Preference is a LCSW license.
