This role will provide overall management, coordination and supervision of clinical services with their respective teams. This role will work to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of clinical services by ensuring staff accountability and productivity, and compliance with regulations, orientation and training and OASIS accuracy, to name a few.

Principal Accountabilities to name a few: • Maintain charts to meet Medicare/Medicaid regulations • Oversee documentation, coding and patient outcomes and ensure continuous education of the Interdisciplinary Team. • Ensure audit of records at regular intervals to assess for compliance • Report deficiencies to appropriate staff for corrections and follow up to ensure completion • Assist in test edit chart reviews, as requested by fiscal intermediary • Ensure that the plans of care are updated to reflect new orders, intervention, and instructions • Review Interdisciplinary Team documentation for accuracy and completeness • Submit quarterly report for Governing Board • Review patient’s clinical diagnosis, medications, procedures and clinical course • Assist clinicians in establishing immediate and long-term therapeutic goals, in setting priorities, and developing a plan of care through OASIS review with staff • Conduct quarterly record reviews and communicate findings and recommendations to the Administrator • Comply with home health policies and procedures, laws and regulations and standards of practice • Provide support to director of patient care services related to quality and compliance issues Qualifications • Knowledge of applicable laws, OASIS, regulations and standards • Communication and organizational skills • Ability to organize, delegate, supervise and evaluate staff • 3+ years’ experience in a medicate certified home health agency • ICD-10 coding experience and understanding • OASIS –C Certified preferred • Valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance • Experience with EMR and electronic charting reporting / expert computer skills • Active CPR • Able to participate in the clinical leadership on call • Able to provide patient care when needed Education and/or Experience • Active Registered Nurse license • Knowledge and experience in quality improvement and/or utilization review. Home health, Oncology, or Home Health and/or long-term care preferred
